MeTA is an alliance of partners working to improve access to medicine through transparency and accountability in healthcare marketplace.
MeTA Zambia is a multi-stake holder initiative involving the government, private sector and civil society organisations and cooperating partners. Its goal is to improve the health of low income and disadvantaged people in Zambia by fulfilling the following objectives.
➢ Increase transparency in the selection, regulation, procurement, distribution, supply and use of essential medicines.
➢ Improve equitable access to affordable and quality essential medicine

MeTA Zambia promotes quality affordable medicines for all Zambians. On our FaceBook page MeTA Zambia wants you to debate and discuss various issues about your health.
Raise the questions. Express your concerns about how medicines reach the town, the district and finally the hospital or clinic near where you live.
Discuss the diseases afflicting your area. Which diseases are more prevalent? Is it Malaria, TB, heart diseases,sti’s, asthma, cervical cancer or prostrate cancer?
MeTA Zambia will use its stakeholders who include the Ministry of Health, Zambia Medical Association, the Pharmaceutical Society of Zambia, the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority and the Zambia Pharmaceutical Business Forum to address your concerns.
